Things changed a lot for us after we got an Amiga computer, and then a whole bunch more of them. Geoff became one of the leading experts in the country on their use in multimedia and video. The introduction of the Video Toaster card that fit inside revolutionized video production, and Geoff was in the thick of it as a columnist, writer and producer.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

We went to Battletech in Pasadena, the earliest commercial multiplayer experience. There we ran into the smartest man in the world, Stephen Hawking.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Geoff met Mike Judge when he was lecturing at Cal Arts and Judge was showing his student film with the odd name of Beavis and Butthead<\/em>. He did not at the time fully appreciate Mike’s potential or prescience.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

In junior college, we hung out at parties at the home of Spike and Mike, who would later give Mike Judge a big break and had a better idea of just how talented he was than Geoff did.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
